1. Introduction

It is cut from genuine suede, a material that trades shine for depth and asks to be worn rather than simply looked at. 2. The Material: Suede, Chosen Deliberately

Rows of even, channel stitching hold the insulation in place so it cannot shift or bunch with wear, while also giving the vest a defined shape instead of the shapeless puff you get from cheaper quilted outerwear. The stitching has to be tight and consistent, because on suede, uneven topstitching is far more visible than it would be on a busier, grain-textured hide.

The button-front closure is concealed behind a placket for a cleaner front, and the stand collar buttons at the neck for extra warmth on colder days without adding bulk. The Rory is offered in Black, Blue, and Bronze. All three share the same cut and construction, but each carries a different mood. Black is the most versatile of the three, built to layer over almost anything. Blue is a muted, slightly dusty slate rather than a bright tone, which keeps it wearable in a smart-casual rotation. Bronze leans warm and earthy, closer to a rich tobacco than a true brown.
